How much will one of my pictures sell for?
There are only 2 image sizes and prices on the site:
• £49.99*
+ VAT high resolution
• £19.99*
+ VAT low resolution
Customers around the world will be able to buy your images with their
credit cards and be charged in their local currency. We split the fee
with our photographers such that you receive over 50% of the Nett sale
fee:
• £25.00*
high resolution
• £10.00*
low resolution

*for the duration of the special offer period
What image size, format and resolution should I upload?
• Hi-resolution,
hi-quality jpg images are required. click here for image size specifications.
• Images
uploaded that are less than the required image size specification will
not be accepted.
Selling Your Images
British Images market your images from a secure storage environment
The more images you upload the more likely you are to make a sale. The more detail you give about each image when you caption and keyword it, the greater the chance of your image being identified when a picture buyer makes a search.
When one for your images has been sold you will automatically be notified by e-mail giving you the image reference. You will then be sent a cheque by post, in accordance with our terms and conditions of payment, to the address provided when you registered with British Images.
Make the keywords count
• Use both singulars and plurals;
• State the predominant colour of the image;
• Describe everything in the picture (even the most obscure things);
• Use descriptive phrases as well as single words;
• Do not use commas, hyphens, full stops etc to separate keywords
• Use a spell checker to correct any typing mistakes (PLEASE do it; we all make
them).
Picture buyers are looking for the chance to use previously unpublished, unseen images - the pictures that can't be taken again.
